PURWAKARTA – Inforayanews.co.id, – Kecelakaan beruntun kembali terjadi di ruas tol Cipali. Sembilan orang meninggal dunia akibat tabrakan beruntun di KM 78.400, Purwakarta, Senin pagi (30/11/2020).

Menurut Kasat Lantas Purwakarta, AKP Toto Herman Permana kecelakaan bermula ketika sebuah kendaraan truk trailer mogok di jalur lambat arah Jakarta menuju Palimanan di KM 78.400 Kecamatan Campaka, Purwakarta. Namun datang dari arah belakang datang tronton dan menabrak trailer mogok. Tidak lama kemudian travel dengan sarat penumpang muncul dengan kecepatan tinggi dan menabrak tronton.

“Pertama trailer mengalami trouble dan berhenti mendadak di jalur lambat, lalu muncul tronton menabrak trailer dan travel menabrak tronton, tiga kendaraan terlibat dalam kecelakaan ini,” ujar AKP Toto.

Akibat kecelakaan beruntun tersebut 9 orang tewas dan tiga orang mengalami luka-luka. Semua korban tewas merupakan penumpang dari Travel.

Kasus kecelakaan beruntun di Tol Cipali ini kini ditangani oleh Unit Laka Satlantas Purwakarta. Semua korban dibawa ke rumah sakit Abdul Rojaq Purwakarta.(IS-Red)
