Inforayanews.co.id, – Nama Irjen Pol Muhammad Fadil Imran belakangan di sebut-sebut berpeluang menggantikan Jenderal Idham Aziz yang akan memasuki masa pensiun 2021 mendatang.

Ketegasannya dalam memimpin menjadi tolak ukur untuk mempertimbangkan Irjen Fadil jadi Kapolri, salah satu ketegasan yang menjadi sorotan publik soal dia menegur Kapolsek dan mencopotnya saat tidur.

Hal itu terjadi saat dirinya menjabat Kapolda Jawa Timur, saat itu dia sedang memberi pemaparan, ia melihat seorang Kapolsek tidur dan menegurnya lalu kabarnya dicopot.

Irjen. Pol. Dr. Drs. H. Muhammad Fadil Imran, M.Si lahir di Kota Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan, 14 Agustus 1968, kini usianya kepala lima. Tanggal 16 November 2020 menjabat sebagai Kapolda Metro Jaya dan sebelumnya sempat menjabat sebagai Kapolda Jawa Timur.

Pati bintang dua ini, lulusan Akpol 1991 ini berpengalaman dalam bidang reserse. Sebelumnya, dia menjabat sebagai Staf Ahli Sosial Budaya Kapolri.
