KABUPATEN BEKASI – Inforayanews.co.id, – Setelah melalui proses yang cukup panjang, akhirnya Upah Minimum Kabupaten atau UMK Bekasi 2021 mengalami naik sebesar 6,51 persen. Keputusan kenaikan upah itu berdasarkan hasil voting.

Atas kenaikan tersebut, gaji minimal pekerja di Kabupaten Bekasi kini mencapai Rp4.791.843 atau naik Rp292.882 dari UMK 2020 sebesar Rp4.498.961.

“Keputusan (kenaikan UMK) diputuskan melalui voting. Hasilnya naik 6,51 persen,” kata Kepala Dinas Ketenagakerjaan Kabupaten Bekasi, Suhup, Kamis (19/11/2020).

Suhup menjelaskan, keputusan kenaikan ini didapatkan dari hasil rapat bersama Dewan Pengupah Kabupaten Bekasi yang terdiri dari pemerintah, akademisi, asosiasi pengusaha dan serikat buruh.

Sudah dilakukan tiga kali rapat dalam dua pekan terakhir ini. Terakhir rapat dilakukan pada Rabu (18/11/2020) malam.

Rapat pembahasan upah ini cukup alot. Pasalnya beberapa kali rapat tak menemui kesepakatan hingga akhirnya dilakukan voting dalam penentuan UMK tersebut.

Suhup mengatakan, kenaikan UMK 6,51 persen didasari atas inflasi dan pendapatan domestik bruto (PDB).

Karena di Kabupaten Bekasi tidak ada inflasi, akhirnya pembahasan upah mengambil inflasi dari Kota Bekasi. Yakni dari September 2019 sampai September 2020, inflasi menyentuh angka 2,33 persen. Kemudian acuan selanjutnya berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik yang menyebut PDB mencapai 4,18 persen.

“Dari hitungan tersebut kemudian dilakukan voting dan ditetapkan naik 6,51 persen kenaikan UMK-nya,” katanya.

Hasil pembahasan UMK Kabupaten Bekasi itu akan disampaikan ke Gubernur Jawa Barat untuk selanjutnya diputuskan.

“Langsung kita kirimkan rekomendasinya ke Gubernur Jawa Barat. Keputusan finalnya di sana,” katanya.(IS- Red)
