KABUPATEN BEKASI – Inforayanews.co.id, – Komunitas Volunteer Anak Desa (VAD) mengadakan kegiatan sosialiasi alat musik tradisional khas Jawa Barat yang terbuat dari bambu kepada anak-anak binaan di RT.02/01 Desa Serang Kec. Cikarang Selatan. Minggu (27/12/2020)
Acara tersebut merupakan salah satu agenda kegiatan dari divisi Seni dan Budaya dalam rangka turut serta dalam melestarikan seni dan budaya asli Indonesia.
Ki Surra dari Padepokan Galuh Surrawisesa Cikarang Pusat memberikan penjelasan dan tentang apa itu karinding dan bagaimana cara memainkan alat musik yg panjangnya hanya sejengkal tangan orang dewasa. Anak-anak pun tertawa dibuatnya tatkala mendengar suara yg dihasilkan dari karinding untuk pertama kalinya.
“Karinding sebenarnya bukan hanya milik Jawa Barat atau Indonesia, tapi juga milik dunia, karena karinding ada dibelahan dunia lainya, namun berbeda nama nya saja” tutur ki Surra.
Menurut ki Surra bahwa karinding memiliki resonansi suara yang dapat dijadikan media terapi seperti suara ultrasonik yang dikeluarkan oleh seekor lumba-lumba.
Sementara itu ketua VAD Desa Serang Bpk. Yonas mengatakan bahwa kegiatan sosialiasi ini bertujuan untuk agar generasi muda lebih menghargai dan mencintai produk budaya dari bangsa nya sendiri karena di era modern ini anak-anak lebih sering menggunakan gadget sehingga dikhawatirkan dapat juga mengikis rasa kecintaanya terhadap jati diri bangsa nya sendiri.
Selain itu, kegiatan rutin VAD untuk divisi pendidikan berfokus pada kegiatan belajar bahasa inggris tingkat SD, SMP, dan SMK/A. Dengan tenaga relawan pengajar dari kalangan akademisi, mahasiswa atau praktisi pendidikan di sekolah formal.
Kedepanya kegiatan belajar mengajar tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkat dengan menambah mata pelajaran dan keterampilan seperti komputer dan lainya.(IS-Red)
